It's nearing the end of the year again, so I thought it would be good to write an update while reflecting.

Milestones

FullBay

In February, we switched from using AppSheet to Fullbay for documentation. See announcement. I think it would be interesting to show a brief history of our PM checklists:

In our quest for effective documentation, we have been through several iterations of documentation methods.

For the past two years, we have used our third and longest lasting solution using Google’s AppSheet. We used it to create work orders, and track progress of work from diagnosing to ordering parts to repair and invoicing. Preventative maintenance was also recorded.

How much service is right?

We have recently switched to Fullbay for tracking services and preventative maintenance. It allows us to create services specific for a truck, or component that might be used on many trucks. I have invested many hours recently in building checklists, and doing this has opened my eyes to a huge problem we need to address without delay.
